Best Team in Clash of Critters

The best early Clash of Critters team is built around roles, not just rarity. Start with one carry, add wave clear, then use support or control to keep the run stable.

F2P Team Advice

Do not chase a perfect roster before your upgrades can support it. A focused F2P team with one strong main carry can outperform a scattered team with several rare but weak Tataris.

Example Early Team Plans

Balanced Progression Team

Use one main carry, one wave clear unit, one support, and one flex slot. This is the safest setup when you do not know whether the next wall is damage, survival, or wave pressure.

Boss Pressure Team

Keep your main carry, add a boss specialist, and only keep wave clear if the pre-boss phase drains too many resources. This setup is for stages where the boss survives with low health.

F2P Resource Team

Use the highest-upgraded units you already own. Do not replace a built Tatari with a new unlock until the new unit solves a specific role problem.

Team FAQ

Is rarity more important than role?

No. Rarity helps only if the Tatari is upgraded and useful for the stage. A lower-rarity unit in the right role can be better than a rare unit that does not solve your current wall.

How many Tataris should I upgrade early?

Keep the early upgrade pool narrow. Build one main carry first, then support that carry with one or two role players.
